ADOX films are unique, and many of them perform best when they are processed using the chemistry and workflow ADOX designed for them. This service is intended for photographers who want their ADOX film developed with extra care using ADOX chemistry rather than being treated as a generic black-and-white film.
We process ADOX film according to the intended ADOX workflow for that specific film stock. This includes using the correct ADOX developer when required, such as ADOTECH IV for CMS 20 / CMS 20 II, along with the proper stop, fixing, washing, and handling steps for these more specialized films.
Because this service falls outside our normal black-and-white workflow, it requires additional setup, separate chemistry, and more careful handling. For that reason, ADOX developing usually takes longer than our standard black-and-white turnaround time. While regular black-and-white developing is often completed in about 1–2 weeks, ADOX film processed through this service is typically completed in about 2–3 weeks.
This listing is intended for 35mm ADOX film. If you have ADOX film in another size or format, please contact us before sending it in so we can confirm whether we can process and scan it correctly.
After developing, your film is scanned on our Canon 5DS-R DSLR scanning system. Scan options are available at 12MP, 24MP, or 48MP, depending on the level of detail you would like from your negatives.
