New for 2026 and the very first lab offering photo insurance. This covers and Automatically corrects common issues made by Film Photographers. The Insurance covers having the wrong settings on your camera, Forgetting to use the flash and issues related to shooting with expired film. Some small unwanted objects can be removed such as a finger too close to the lens or very small light leaks. This does not cover anything and everything else including Developing issues, Blank Film or anything related to the camera beyond having settings incorrect. Developing costs are not refundable.
This insurance cost is per roll and will be automatically refunded if the entire roll is blank or all of the images are degraded beyond correctability. The insurance will not be refunded for any other reason.
This service is an add on to any of our basic developing options including C-41, C-41 Express, Black and White, and ECN-2.
